AV Bros. Puzzle Pro 2.0 Tutorial

How to Switch From One Mode Into Another (e.g. from the Puzzle Mode into the Layout one)?

As was mentioned in the User Guide (see User Guide, p4), there are three (3) modes: Layout Mode, Puzzle Mode and Adjust Mode. It is clear from the mode's name that in the Layout Mode you can adjust the desired layout (number of rows and columns, thickness of the Splitter, etc) for further cutting your image into pieces; you can operate with puzzle pieces in the Puzzle Mode and you can adjust the puzzle pieces' effects (bevel, opacity, etc) in the Adjust mode. We recommend that you read the detailed list of what you can do in each mode in the User Guide. Here, we will just explain how to switch from one mode into another.
But first, one note: AV Bros. Puzzle Pro 2.0 is always in the Layout mode after starting and you can check whether you are in this mode not only by reading the phrase "Layout" on the LCD-like display on the left side of the Main Window of the plug-in (Fig.1), but by the presence of the Cutter window. So, here are all of the possible switches between modes:
  • From the Layout Mode into the Puzzle Mode:
once you are happy with the layout just click the Cut button in the Cutter window. Then the plug-in switches into the Puzzle Mode.

  • From the Puzzle Mode into the Layout Mode:
if you want to change the layout, you should click the Relayout button in the Main window of the plug-in (Fig.2). The Cutter window will appear at your service.
Important note! You may lose the current "map" of puzzle pieces' effects after changing the layout.

  • From the Puzzle Mode into the Adjust Mode:
go under the Adjust menu and choose the desired effect (Fig.3). As soon as the effect's window appears, the plug-in switches into the Adjust Mode (Fig.4).

  • From the Adjust Mode into the Puzzle Mode:
just click the OK or Cancel button of the effect window. The plug-in will be switched into the Puzzle Mode back with or without applying the effect.
