Tutorials by DrPixel - Puzzle Pro 2.0 - Extreme Hi-End Integration
 |
It may look difficult but it really isn't :))
- If you can click & drag, you can do this!
- Prior to getting to this step, you will follow the AV Bros
method of High-End
integration. The only difference is, or should we say
"The Trick Is" ,you will
save the "Image" & "Objects" as separate .psd files from
within the AV Bros Puzzle Pro 2.0 Plug in Program window. After
you choose the desired layout in the Plug in and before you click
apply, select all pieces and save as a .psd file! Do this to all
of the images & objects you are working with (all layers to be
more specific) except the layers that contain the custom shapes
you used to make the new layers via cut. You can actually delete
these layers after you have made the "cut" to a new
layer.

- We started with 3 separate .psd file we created in AV Bros
Puzzle Pro 2.0.
- Open all the .psd files in separate windows inside of PhotoShop
7 (Fig. 1).
Fig.1
- Now, arrange the windows so you can see all of them easily (if
possible, it doesn't matter if you can't but you must be able to
see the pieces you want to select)
(Fig. 2).
Fig. 2
- This is the cool part! Select a piece of puzzle you want to
"Bring in" to the main image window by clicking it once
to select it and then, click again & hold the image piece
while dragging the piece to the "main" window. Hold onto
it until you are near the spot that it actually goes to, then
release (Fig. 3). PhotoShop 7 will now make a copy of that layer
in the "main" puzzle window!
Fig.3
- Repeat this step until all of the pieces from the other .psd
file windows are now in the "main" puzzle window. This
is the best part. PhotoShop 7 will remember where all the pieces
go and a slight "Snap to feature" will allow you to move
all the parts into place exactly where they were when you created
the (High-End Integration) using AV Bros Puzzle Pro 2.0 Plug in
Program (Fig. 4).
Fig.4
- Didn't we say this was easy? You will notice that we left the
Parrots eye without a corresponding "hole" so you could
set it anywhere you like. It color edges are anti-aliased so it
can go anywhere on the green head and still look right! You now
have a complete PhotoShop 7 Puzzle that can be saved as a .psd
file or exported as a jpeg, gif, png or a multitude of other
files. You can also "mess up" all the pieces and resolve
the puzzle in PhotoShop 7 or any other program that supports
layered PSD files.
You gotta love AV Bros Puzzle Pro 2.0!
